Woodland Terrace

Senior living guardrail and balcony railing support for resident apartments, patio homes, and common areas.

Overview

Built for the project, coordinated for the field.

Woodland Terrace Danville is a senior living community in Danville, Indiana, offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, apartments, patio homes, and shared amenities. Capstone Rail provided railing and guardrail support for resident-facing areas that need to feel safe, durable, and residential. The finished railing work helps create confident circulation and polished edges throughout a community designed for daily resident use.

Challenge

Senior living environments require rail and guardrail details that are strong enough for daily use while still fitting a warm residential setting. The challenge was to support safety, accessibility, and durability in spaces used by residents, families, guests, and care teams.

Solution

Capstone Rail coordinated railing details with the property’s resident-focused layout, balancing practical performance with a refined finish. The approach emphasized stable guardrail and handrail conditions, clean transitions, and an appearance that complements Woodland Terrace’s residential atmosphere.

Outcome

The completed railing work supports Woodland Terrace Danville’s safe, welcoming environment by giving apartments, patios, exterior circulation paths, and shared spaces durable finished edges designed for daily use.
